Description

[Machine Translation] Slowdown Records' Merzbau Archive Series started in 2018, and this box is the seventh release in the series. This box, "Green & Orange", includes "Cat Of Shell Vol.1", "Cat Of Shell Vol.2", "Tauro-O1", "Tauro-O2", "Tauro-O3", "Tauro-O4", "Tauro-O5" and "Tauro-O6", which are unreleased recordings from 1996 to 1998, when Merzbau started to use synthesizers more seriously and also introduced techno and drum & bass influences. The album contains six pieces: "Tauro-O1", "Tauro-O2", "Medamaya-O", and "Spring Harp-O". The artwork, which uses modern architecture (mainly reconstruction architecture from the Great Kanto Earthquake in Tokyo), in which Mr. Akita showed great interest at the time, is also noteworthy.
