Music is awesome! I was so happy that Commmons would repress this and ship it overseas. Whilst I was not impressed with the poppies of the '12' release, I had to give this a shot. I was happy that it was not as 'poppy' and maintained the ambient quality of the intended sound. The packaging is beautiful and whilst I haven't heard the original pressing (as it was cut and pressed by another person/plant) this is a good pressing to have in your collection.

過去作品のアンコールプレス、初アナログ化! commmons: Vinyl Collection 第一弾! 2017年にリリースされたソロ・アルバム。1年以上の病気療養を経て新境地を開いた意欲作で、このアルバムからの音源を主体にしたコンサートも海外で複数回行われている。前作『out of noise』がオーガニックな音響作品だったのに対し、ここではヴィンテージを含むアナログ・シンセサイザーが多用されている。制作当初のアイデアのひとつが架空のタルコフスキー映画のサントラということもあり、どの曲もリスナーにそれぞれの映像イメージを強く喚起させる。実際、アルバム発表後には高谷史郎、アピチャッポン・ウィーラセタクン、Zakkubalanらによって本作とその収録曲が映像化されインスタレーションとしても発表された。近年のコンサートでは必ず演奏されていた新たな代表曲ともいえる「andata」を収録。また「fullmoon」では映画『シェルタリング・スカイ』からポール・ボウルズの、「Life, Life」ではデヴィッド・シルヴィアンの朗読がそれぞれ使用されたことも話題となった。180g重量盤2枚組。
