Energy Buro [Limited Release]

"Healing," "playfulness," and "experimental spirit" - the new work "Energy Buro" is released on April 26! The renowned collaboration "energy flow - rework" by U-zhaan and Ryuichi Sakamoto, and "Energy Buro," in which Tamaki Roy and Chinza DOPENESS add a new interpretation through rap based on its instrumental. These two works, along with two newly recorded tracks, are released as a four-track EP. In 1999, Ryuichi Sakamoto's "energy flow" became the first instrumental track in history to reach No.1 on the Oricon chart. 20 years later in 2018, it was reconstructed by Sakamoto and tabla player U-zhaan as "energy flow - rework." A serene tabla melody loop overlaps with distorted guitar to create a fantastical sound. It presents an extremely personal "new energy flow" with a sensual intoxication different from the original. This EP includes those two tracks as well as two newly recorded songs for this release, "Tennen Energy Buro" and "Technopolis"!

U-zhaan & 坂本龍一による名コラボレーション"energy flow - rework"と、そのインストゥルメンタルをもとに環ROY、鎮座DOPENESSがラップで新解釈を加えた「エナジー風呂」。この2作品に、新録2曲を加えた全4曲入りEPとしてリリースが決定。1999年、インストゥルメンタルとして史上初のオリコン1位を獲得した坂本龍一「energy flow」。その20年後にあたる2018年、坂本とタブラ奏者U-zhaanの手によって再構築されたのが「energyflow - rework」。静謐なタブラのメロディ・ループに、歪んだギターが幻想的に重なり合う。原曲とは異なる官能的な陶酔感を描き出した、極めてパーソナルな"新しいエナジーフロー"。今回のEPには、これら2曲に加え、このリリースのために新たに録音された2つの新録音源「天然エナジー風呂」「テクノポリス」を収録!
