Description

[Machine Translation] Yoshiro Okazaki and Jay Thomas are two trumpeters active worldwide, transcending the oceans between Japan and the United States. This is a tribute album featuring live recordings of Kenny Dorham's works on the 90th anniversary of his birth, as well as other pieces related to him. Yoshiro Okazaki and Jay Thomas respect each other and play together with the thrilling rhythm section of Shuhei Mizuno (p), Tsuyoshi Shimada (b), and Daisuke Kurata (ds), all of whom are well versed in bebop. The selection of songs reaffirms Kenny Dorham's talent as a composer.
