Reds 25th Anniversary Special Collector's Edition

[Machine Translation] To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the film's production, it is now available on DVD in a luxurious 2-disc set that includes newly-recorded, never-before-seen footage! John Reed, a journalist and author of "Ten Days That Shook the World" (Iwanami Shoten), a reportage on the Russian October Revolution of 1917, and Louise Bryant, an activist for women's liberation. The love they nurtured while respecting and opposing each other, their passion for political struggles, and the end of their lives after the revolution.... This is a true story about a real person who dynamically ran through the turbulent times in Russia and the United States. The bold technique of incorporating interviews with people who knew the people of the time throughout the film and the realistic camerawork bring the wild pulse of the film to life. Warren Beatty and Diane Keaton, who were real-life partners at the time of filming, beautifully embody an attitude of real love that transcends acting. Even without the political background, this romantic film is recommended for both men and women for its epic dramatics that weave together a variety of relationships and a love story that is destined to be a great love story. Nominated for 12 Academy Awards, the film won in three categories: Best Director, Best Supporting Actress ( Maureen Stapleton ), and Best Cinematography. This is a truly talented film that has also won many other major film awards. Remastered and released on DVD for the first time. Includes an o-ring.
