Brahms: Klavierwerke Vol.2 [Limited Release]

[Machine Translation] [Kemp Masterpieces 1000] German pianist Wilhelm Kemp ( 1895-1991 ) excelled at classical and romantic repertoire such as Beethoven, Brahms, and Bach. To commemorate the 30th anniversary of his death, the "Kemp Masterpieces 1000" series is being released as an encore pressing. Kemp's Brahms is like an old wine that has been waiting for a long time to mature, full of rich and fertile flavors and an indescribable breadth. There is no dry sound or astringency, but rather a fresh, mellow, richness that fills the listener with a rich sense of satisfaction. This is the Brahms of Kemp, which is deeply connected to the human and spiritual state that he has reached, and which distinguishes him from other pianists of his generation. His unique romanticism is also intact and covers the entire surface of the work, leaving the listener in a state of blissful enjoyment. Recorded in Hanover, 1963
