Following his previous album, *Doro*, this work primarily features Michirou performing solo with his guitar, but also features Toshiaki Ishizuka (Zuno Keisatsu) who would later co-found NOTALIN S with him on drums, along with Norihiko Yamakita on percussion and Daisuke Yamaguchi on saxophone. This is the first album by Hokkyoku Bacteria on which all songs were written and composed by Michiro himself, and the artwork features photographs taken by Michiro himself.

世界が新たなミレニアムに突入する正にその瞬間、2000年1月1日午前0時にリリースされた作品。前作『道郎』に続き弾き語りをメインにしつつ、後に共にNOTALIN'Sを結成する石塚俊明 (頭脳警察)がドラムで参加に加え、山北紀彦がパーカッションで、山口大介がサックスで参加。北極バクテリアでの作品としては初めて、全曲ミチロウ本人の作詞・作曲による作品であり、アートワークにもミチロウ本人が撮影した写真が使われている。
