LES DEMERLE

Description

[Machine Translation] The long-awaited reissue of West Coast funky drummer Les DeMar's most oily album from the 70's, with obi! This is a studio recording from 1977 on Dobre, a well-known and well-liked label by those in the know. The introductory drum break of "Moondial" is a classic that has been sampled by Jurassic 5's "Lesson 1," De La Soul's "Stone Age," DJ Shadow, Greyboy, and many others. The album is a funky fusion album full of groovy numbers such as "Canned Heat Suite", "Kaballa", jazz funk, and "Bacchanal", a bewitching Afro Latin funk.
