Chicken Heads

[Machine Translation] World's first straight reissue in the original jacket of the 1974 Ovation disc, which is considered a hidden masterpiece of Chicago Funky Blues! Including 4 tracks never before released on CD! The title track, a hit by Bobby Rush in 1971, is the first song on this CD, followed by the song ( 3 ), which was also featured by Albert King, and the "Born Under A Bad Sigh"-like song ( 10 ). Especially, the medium groove of ( 5 ) and the upbeat ( 9 ) are the best! Lewis Satterfield (b), who also played on Muddy's "Electric Mud" and "After The Rain" at the time, and Ira Gates (drums), who backed Jerry Butler and Little Milton, create a groove that is the heart of this album. Floyd Morris, known for his participation in Junior Wells' "You're TuffEnough" and his later work with E, W&F, adds piano, organ, and clavi, and Mighty Joe goes wild with Ron Steele's sharp side guitar!

Note: This is an import edition (manufactured outside of Japan).
