This is my favorite W-inds. cd so far. I think it has a great combination of songs. Their voices are fabulous, of course, and the songs are all fantastic. Give it a try you won't regret it.
Thanks [Limited Release] Customer Reviews
w-inds.
I bought this CD on a whim with some spare money I had lying around, and I have to say, it's one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. With tracks ranging from the cheerful pop of 'Lights', to the sweet ballad 'Kageboushi' and then onwards to energetic rock with 'Stomp', 'THANKS' has satisfied all my musical cravings. Every song is a delight in it's own way, and I'm not ashamed to admit that this CD lived in my player for over two weeks straight. An added bonus was the poster and alternate album cover. The album was worth every yen I paid for it even without those, but it was a nice little addition to the already pleasant package. I can't rate how this album compares to other w-inds. albums, but I was very pleased with this CD and I've not hesitated to recommend it to people. I've yet to find anyone that doesn't smile immediately upon hearing 'It's In The Stars'. ~_^ I know I'll be buying more CDs by this group in the future.
I was so impressed by w-inds. latest album. They've grown so much over the years. I love how Keita's voice has matured. Ryuichi and Ryohei have also matured in their singing. I'm very happy with the mix of dance, disco, ballads and rock on this CD. Once you put the album in your player you'll be hitting repeat!
This latest album by w-inds. is a fantastic effort by w-inds. yet again. After their disappointing release of "It's in the stars", my interest in them started to decline but after hearing "Thanks", I got all energized again! My personal faves are "Kageboshi", "Balance" and "Semishigure".
w-inds. never disappoint us fans. Their latest album is by far the most wonderful album ever! The styles of their songs is very diverse, from rock and punk to hiphop and ballads. I also found the acoustic versions of izayoi no tsuki and yakusoku no kakera really good!! Better than i expected. This is a must-have for any w-inds. fans. Not to mention the excellent poster that comes with this limited version.
The firat time I saw the title of the album, I was surprised. Due to some of the untruthful information, w-inds. are getting break up, which just drive me crazy!! and after seeing the album name, I went nuts, THANKS?!what does that suppose to mean?? Thank for your support and we are leaving?! well, thank god, after all, they are not breaking up...
Better than their previous 'ageha' album. This album includes songs that differ from ballads to rockish music. w-inds. are constantly changing their styles to impress their fans and this has worked just as well! I love it!
I actually bought the limited edition! The posters are way so cool and so are their songs! w-inds. always create hip and cool songs. In this album, i believe that all the fans can tell that w-inds. have really put in lots of effort during the process. Compare to the past albums, Ryuichi and Ryohei are also participating more in the raps and other fast songs. Keita's voice blend in nicely with the fast song. It gives a soothing effect when comes to keita's voice while Ryuichi and Ryohei's voice gives the "rocking" part. Totally cool album! buy it now!!
i like this album..totally ROCKS!! their songs quite different from their previous album..and the poster really awesome.
new album and a really good improvement... first part is really disco just like w-inds did for Super Lover, then two singles in accoustic version, the best way to rediscover those songs. Then a lot of rock so Ryuichi can sing a lot for our pleasure. A promising ending which makes us want to be next year so we can hear their next album. W-inds are getting more and more impressive as time goes by. Let us wait to see what they'll do next.
w-inds. have grown alot since they debuted 5 years ago. i'm impressed by the 90% english lyrics for Midnight Venus. though its just a few lines repeating throughout the whole song, you can really listen to the words of the lyrics. That is really a very big improvement. Keita's english is known to be very bad. But i think he had really brushed it up. Well Done!!! you'll be surprise after hearing to the song. Midnight Venus is really a hit!!! Other songs that i recommend: Light, Balance, kageboshi and semishigure. the single remix are great too. i love izayoi no tsuki and yakusoku no kakera. its better than the original single. just by looking at the CD cover, you can really tell the hard work put in. its really their best album so far. i really recommend this album. its a must-get. this limited edition one comes with a huge poster too!!! well done, w-inds.!!!
another great album by w-inds. this album actually showed more variety (song wise) than the ageha album (in my opinion). you can totally hear keita's voice and singing abilities in this album. i would recommend midnight venus, Yakusoku no Kakera ~acoustic~, Izayoi no Tsuki ~unplugged~, kageboshi and semishigure. you can totally hear how much keita's voice can change...and yet manage to sound great at the same time.
w-inds. have done it again. Though "THANKS" may not have as big a song variety as the "ageha" album, I find it safe to say that this is their best album yet. w-inds. have definitely grown up, and I'm proud to say that it shows. With "THANKS," the boys seem to be experimenting more with songs of the rock/house genres; both styles which fit them well. I look forward to hearing more from them soon.
the album is great[as always] , and the poster came with this [first press edition] was excellent.totally recommend this album. *sings* it's in the stars~
There are various gerne in this album, from disco dance to rockish. w-inds. are growing up and getting more mature. Each member shows their own style in this album. Keita's voice is really good, his voice has become better.
w-inds. are every time getting better. With this new album, you can see how mature they are! Don't forget to check the last track, Semishigure, where Keita's voice is so lightly cute. The limited version includes a poster, which one I loved it, and if you're a fan will buy it to, but the most important are the songs, right? And the songs are the same in both press, so you can buy anyone of the THANKS press, that you won't repent yourself! Garanted!
Best album since 'The system of alive'! After 5 years of their debut, w-inds. show the world that they've grown up with this album. And I would like to quote the title of this CD 'thanks' to they, for their effort in the last years.
THANKS is an incredible album produced by W-inds. It has some more energetic rock-like songs such as "Stomp", while it still retains the disco dance of Midnight Venus. The tracks compiled overall were very impressive, and W-inds. just keep on getting better! However, I have a few slight critisms -- a few songs seemed a bit half-hearted and rushed. They didn't have quite the same oomph as W-inds. usually has. Sup wassup!! is a song that comes to my mind for that, but it is catchy and will probably grow on you sooner or later. At any rate, this album is a wonderful addition for any W-inds. collection and is highly worth the price!
