The thing I liked most about this dvd is how much you get to see of Shizuka outside the competition performance. There is very little competion footage on this dvd, maybe 2 minutes I think. The footage of her practicing is really good. It is filmed from close to the rink so you get a clear view. There is a lot of interview time aswell so if you can understand japanese it is really nice to hear her talk. The slow motion footage is good, but it goes for too long. They could have cut this down a bit, but it really is amazing. You actually get to see her facial expressions when she is doing spins and jumps, which is not something you would normally get to see. If you are a skating fan more than a Shizuka fan then this might not be for you, but if you are a Shizuka fan then this is really worth getting. It is only 39 minutes plus the making of the slow motion skating. I am happy with my purchase.
