後藤ひろひとが書き下ろした、センセーショナルな舞台を2017年版で再演! 過去2000年、2003年にパルコ劇場にて公演された『人間風車』が、キャストを新たに生まれ変わった。舞台で活躍する人気俳優成河(そんは)をはじめ、ミムラ、加藤諒など著名で実力派のキャスト陣が集結。その他矢崎広、松田凌、良知真次など、若手急上昇俳優陣も出演。 ――売れない童話作家の平川が披露する奇想天外な童話に、近所の子供たちは大はしゃぎ。けれども、童話の登場人物や題名はレスラーの名前、テーマも"三流大学出身より高卒の方がまし" だから、子供の親からはクレームばかり。公園に集まる子供たちの中には、へんてこ童話の主人公になりきって現れる奇妙な青年・サムがいた。ある日、平川はひょんなことからTVタレントのアキラと知り合う。その出会いは平川の作風にも大きな変化をもたらしていくのだが・・・。
