The film features six fresh young actors, including Seita Nishioka and Yutaro Watanabe, who were selected by audition from over 1,000 applicants to play the main roles in the story. --Shintaro Nishijima is a young businessman who rides his bicycle through the city. It was taken five years ago, in a room of an old student dormitory that was scheduled to be demolished in five days. Gunpei Minobe, Kanae Kodama, Nakayoshi Maeno, and Mizuki Watanabe are playing mahjong, and Shintaro is reading a book without interest. That day was a mahjong tournament to commemorate Mizuki's departure from the dormitory.
