Description

[Machine Translation] The second DVD release of "Rakugo Masterpieces" by Yanagiya Kosan V, a master rakugo performer who continued to support the postwar world of rakugo for many years! Two years after his death... The rare comical storyteller, who was designated as the first living national treasure in the world of rakugo, carefully selected masterpieces from the precious footage he left to NHK. Included are "The Cat's Disaster," about the misfortune of a man who receives a sea bream from a tenement house full of cats, and "The Innkeeper's Wealth," about the exchange between a man who comes to calculate the money and the innkeeper. A masterful performance by a great master finally revived. 1979/1989 production.
