Mizuho was welcomed into the Midorikawa Stable at Suzuda Racecourse, a regional horse racing track. The stable is in shambles, and is about to collapse, with an uninspiring trainer, Koji Midorikawa (Aoi Nakamura), a stubborn and inflexible veteran stable hand, and a young aphasic stable hand who is kind to the horses but closed-minded about people.
