A work recorded by Kosuke Mine, who rose to prominence in Masabumi Kikuchi Group, leading his own regular group. The performance by the group, which includes the spirited musician Fumio Itabashi, is heavy and full of dynamism, with momentum and vividness that seem to announce the dawn of a new era. Influenced by John Coltrane at that time, Mine's playing shows brilliance and a grand scale, blowing through powerful melodies such as "Thirsty" and "Daguri" with overwhelming expressiveness. It is a work full of presence worthy of being called Mine's representative masterpiece, combining dynamism, lyricism, and exoticism. All songs are composed by himself. Recorded in 1973.

菊地雅章グループで頭角を現した峰厚介が、自身のレギュラー・グループを率いて録音した作品。板橋文夫を含む気鋭のミュージシャンを揃えたグループの演奏は重厚にして躍動感が溢れ、あたかも新たな時代の幕開けを告げるかのような勢いと鮮烈さがある。この時期コルトレーンからの影響を受けていたという峰のプレイには閃きとスケールの大きさがあり、「Thirsty」や「Daguri」など、突き抜けるような旋律を圧倒的な表現力で吹き切っている。ダイナミズム、リリシズム、エキゾチシズムを兼ね備えた、峰の代表作とするに相応しい存在感に満ちた作品である。全曲自身による作曲。1973年録音。
