I have both the sokoho and saikoho brushes from Koyomo. This one is exceptional for the value. It's so soft, which I've never experienced with other goat brushes (even saikoho from other brands).

Description
What is Sokoho Yomo? It is hair from around the neck and chest area of young goats, which has been subjected to little wear and tear. The hair is sufficiently long, and is the highest-quality among all goat hair. Its characteristics are the perfect balance of firmness and softness, and, in particular, the roots are thick and have resilience.
The highest-quality hair for brushes, known as "Koyomo", is hair that has been taken from goats living in the Yangtze region of China, in the 1970s or before, and is precious due to its rarity. Brushes using "Koyomo" confirmed as being from this period, are coated in cuticles up to the hair tip, and have delicate tips, which means that they feel smooth on the skin and have no friction. The brushes also last a long time, becoming more adapted the more they are used, and as make-up brushes they are unparalleled. It comes with a presentation box.
This powder brush has a plush large head for sheer application and smooth, high definition results. It distributes loose powder, bronzer, illuminator and setting powder perfectly, to create a flawless finish. Also ideal dusting of makeup or for mineral foundations.
Softness (degree 1-10): 7
Usage: Powder, Foundation, Bronzer

Customer Reviews
A beautiful brush with hairs that are soft yet will pick up product. The feel of the hairs is closer to saikoho. The wood handle is gorgeous as well.
I love this brush so much. The handle is very simple but allows the beauty of the walnut to shine against the beautiful white goat hair. Of course it's exquisitely soft! Love the Koyomo brushes and hope to buy another soon. Thank you CDJapan for the fast shipping and careful packaging.
