[Machine Translation] Will Anderson (Vo)'s sparkling, prince-like character shines brighter and his soulful pop rock sound is more polished on Parachute's second album after a two-year absence! Will Anderson (Vo, G, P), Kit French (Sax, Key, Vo), Alex Hargrave (B), Johnny Stubblefield (Ds) and Nate McFarland (Lead G, Vo) formed Sparky's Flaw while still in high school. After graduating in 2008, the band concentrated on touring and promoting their debut album ("Losing Sleep"). The resulting album became a smash hit, reaching #40 on the U.S. album charts. In Japan, their sound and fresh look appealed to a wide range of audiences, and the imported version of the album was a hit, followed by a Japanese release in July 2010. The band already has a large number of fans, so news of their first visit to Japan is eagerly awaited. The second album is full of the same charm as their previous albums: Parachute's sound, a blend of blue-eyed soul, vintage R&B, and melodic pop, is still alive and well on this first album in two years!

Will Anderson (Vo、G、P)、Kit French (Sax、Key、Vo)、Alex Hargrave (B)、Johnny Stubblefield (Ds) and Nate McFarland (Lead G、Vo)が高校在籍時に結成したSparky's Flawが前身バンドで、Virginia大学進学後も活動を続けParachuteへと発展。2008年大学卒業後、ツアーとデビュー・アルバム (“Losing Sleep”)のプロモートに集中。結果、アルバムは全米アルバム・チャート40位を記録、スマッシュ・ヒットとなる。日本においても幅広い層にアピールするサウンドと爽やかなルックスで輸入盤がヒット。2010年7月には日本盤もリリースされ、Fuji Rockへの参加も決まっていたが「アーティストの都合」によりキャンセル。既に数多くのファンを持つバンドだけに、初来日決定のニュースが待たれるところだ。全作同様魅力溢れるセカンド・アルバム: 2年振りとなる本作もブルーアイド・ソウル、ヴィンテージR&B、メロディック・ポップ等を上手くブレンドさせたParachuteサウンドは健在!
