[Machine Translation] Originally released in 2016, ZAPPAtite: Frank Zappa's Tastiest Tracks was compiled by his son Ahmet Zappa and Zappa family tape warehouse keeper Joe Travers. The tracks range from the first album "Freak Out!" released by Zappa's The Mothers of Invention in 1966 to the late 80's. The album is a perfect introduction to Zappa's extensive catalog. The album includes "Peaches en Regalia," a classic from the jazz-rock masterpiece "Hot Rats," a song from the early 1970s featuring former members of The Turtles Flo and Eddie ("Tell Me You Love Me"), and the 1974 hit "Apostrophe" which reached No. 10 on the U.S. charts. The songs from their 1974 hit Apostrophe ('' Cosmik Debris'' and ''Don't Eat The Yellow Snow''), instrumental numbers that show off their appeal as guitarists (''Zoot Allures''), and technical yet comical live recordings (''Titties'' and ''The Titties''). Zappa's live recordings ("Titties & Beer"), his eldest daughter Moon Zappa's vocals on "Valley Girl", "G-Spot Tornado" with the electronic synclavier, and "Strictly Genteel" performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, are just a few of his works. The CD version of the album features 18 tracks selected from a wide variety of aspects of Zappa's works.
