The 8 songs on disc 1 of the CD consist of 4 songs co-written by the 4 members, 2 duets by Portnoy and Levin, Petrucci and Rudess, an improvisational jam, and a meticulously arranged cover of George Gershwin's classic "Rhapsody in Blue". The second disc contains five bonus tracks taken from the jam session material that did not make it into the main album.

ドリーム・シアターのメンバーによるサイド・プロジェクト=Liquid Tension Experiment (リキッド・テンション・エクスペリメント) が22年ぶりに再始動! 3rdアルバム『LTE3』発売決定。本編となるCDのディスク1に収められた8曲の内訳は、4人による共作の書き下ろしが4曲、ポートノイとレヴィン、ペトルーシとルーデス、それぞれのデュエット楽曲が2曲、即興的なジャム1曲、そして綿密なアレンジが施されたジョージ・ガーシュウィンの名曲「ラプソディ・イン・ブルー」のカヴァーという構成で、本編には入らなかったジャム・セッションの素材から抜き出した5曲をボーナス・トラックとしてディスク2に収録している。
