[Machine Translation] Baltimore's Dan Deacon releases his first album in three years! Dan Deacon, an electro-pop artist from Baltimore, USA, has released his seventh album, his second since moving to Domino, the famous British label that includes Arctic Monkeys. This seventh album is not a large-scale work like the previous two albums, but a return to a simpler direction in terms of songwriting and recording. This album is similar to the 2007 album in that it is self-produced. In "Feel The Lightning," the voice that sounds like a woman's voice is actually Dan's own. His breakthrough came in 2009 with the release of "Blomst," on Carpark, a sister label of Animal Collective's Paw Tracks label, which also includes Tro y Moi Moi and others. His last album, which was a perfect combination of experimentalism and his unique sense of funky pop, also won Pitchfork's Best New Music award.

米ボルチモアの鬼才、ダン・ディーコンが約3年振りとなるアルバムをリリース! 米ボルチモアのエレクトロ・ポップ・アーティスト、ダン・ディーコンがアークティック・モンキーズを擁する英名門レーベル＜Domino＞移籍後2枚目となる7thアルバムをリリース! 7作目となる今作は、前作、前々作のような大掛かりな作品ではなく、ソング・ライティング面でもレコーディング面でもよりシンプルな方向性に回帰した作品となっている。セルフ・プロデュースであるという点でも2007年のアルバムに近い雰囲気となっている。ボーカルにおいても新しいことに挑戦していて、「Feel The Lightning」のなかで女の人の声のように聴こえる声も実はダン自身の声である。アニマル・コレクティヴ主宰のレーベル＜Paw Tracks＞の姉妹レーベルでトロ・イ・モワなどが所属している＜Carpark＞から2009年にリリースされた『ブロムスト』で本格的ブレイクを果たし、これまでに6枚のアルバムをリリースしている。実験性と彼ならではのファニーなポップセンスが見事に両立された前作では、ピッチフォークのベスト・ニュー・ミュージックも獲得している。
