[Machine Translation]

Tower Records presents the third installment of the "CTI SA-CD HYBRID SELECTION, " a new series of SACD hybrid recordings of jazz masterpieces.
This is the first SACD hybrid release in Japan of masterpieces from CTI Records, the famous label founded by renowned producer Creed Taylor in the late 1960s that released numerous crossover/fusion masterpieces in the 1970s and 1980s.
The original recording was engineered by Rudy Van Gelder (RVG), known as a master of jazz recording (David Palmer was the engineer for Nina Simone's "Baltimore") .

The most important feature of this release is that it is an original Tower Records release.
Tower Records original project. This is the first SACD hybrid in Japan.
This is the first SACD hybridization in Japan, and the world's first SACD hybridization of all three titles in the third volume.

The third lineup: Nina Simone
Nina Simone "Baltimore
Astrud Gilberto "Gilberto with Talentine
Antonio Carlos Jobim "Stone Flower

The masters were copied from the original master tapes at RVG Studios and converted directly to DSD (Nina Simone's "Baltimore" was copied from the original master tape stored at King Records, the 2nd master in excellent condition, and converted directly to DSD at King Sekiguchidai Studios) . The DSD data was converted to SACD as it is. The SACD reproduces the sound of the original analog source as faithfully as possible.
The CD layer is also newly converted from DSD data to PCM.
Printed surface: Green coating
The series was supervised by Hiromi Wada, who also supervised the mastering and SACD conversion.

*Sound Source and Mastering
Master tapes in extremely good condition stored in King Records (copies from the original masters, high quality masters with less sound degradation compared to the RVG studio master tapes) were used.
Mastering engineer: Hiroyuki Tsuji
Mastered at King Records' Sekiguchidai Studio in October 2020
