THE BEATLES STORE, the only official online store of The Beatles in Japan, has been developing unique Japanese products, especially collaborations with Japanese crafts. This time, we are collaborating with Ohashi Gyoki, a Gifu-based company specializing in the production of Masu, a Japanese traditional Japanese boxed lunch box.

Ogaki City in Gifu Prefecture boasts 80% of the nation's share of Masu production. Since its establishment in 1950, Ohashi Rokki, a specialized Masu manufacturer, has been committed to Masu and has been working hard to pass down its techniques and culture. We have been making Masu using the same traditional method as in the past.

- THE BEATLES STORE JAPAN Original "Abbey Road" Masu
The silhouettes of the band members crossing the Abbey Road are branded on one side.
The other side is branded with THE BEATLES logo.

This is a standard item that has been made for a long time.
Ippogai Masu, Niaogai Masu, Gogai Masu, and Ichi-Masu Masu still use the traditional dimensions of the Kyo Masu, which was approved as an official Masu in the Edo period, and the Japanese cypress that was decided as the material to be used. Enjoy the sweet aroma and warmth of the wood.

* The hinoki cypress has a sterilizing effect and is produced in a hygienic manner, so it can be used as is. The Masu is made of Japanese Cypress. Please enjoy the fragrance of Japanese cypress.

* Please avoid prolonged washing or soaking.
Please wipe it dry with a clean cloth or wipe it with a damp cloth.
When washing with water, please do it in a short time just before use and let it dry naturally.

* Please avoid storing the product in a hot and humid place, exposing it to direct sunlight, or drying it quickly in high temperatures and strong winds, as this may lead to burning or leakage. Do not refrigerate or ice the product.

* Since the wood is made of Japanese cypress, it may have tar.
If this happens, wipe it off with alcohol such as ethanol.

* Please note that the wood may leak due to expansion and contraction when used again (many times).

* The grain and color of the wood will vary from product to product due to the nature of the wood.

* The burnt appearance of the branding iron differs slightly from one to another. Please understand this beforehand.
