It’s perfect for under-eye makeup. Honestly, I felt that it was a bit rougher compared to high-end goat hair or cat hair brushes, but it worked really well for applying makeup under the eyes

The compact size is what I need instead of a long handle. The hair is soft but firm and feels good on the skin. It does the job of applying eyeliner well.

I'm loving the FO series, I see myself getting more brushes. Unlike grey squirrel, silver fox hair is very versatile and able to withstand more. This liner brush is soft but firm, perfect for placing your eyeshadow under the eyes. I will say like the rest of the FO series this is a small brush, which I have to say I prefer and it's a great option to travel with.

FO-8 is the other eyeliner brush I would recommand. Actually this is the 2nd FO-8 I've purchased. The bristle of FO-8 is soft but still firm enought to help me draw eyeliner easily no matter the upper or lower lash line. GSN-17 and FO-8 are both great eyeliner brushed. The effect from GSN-17 tends to be precise and delicate, and the effect from FO-8 is more gentle and soft. Considering portability, FO-8 will be better choice than GSN-17.
