The reissue of the "FLCL Original Art Book," originally published by Gainax in 2001, has been decided. "FLCL," an original OVA featuring the participation of many talented animators, is an immortal masterpiece that went on to influence many later works. It is also highly acclaimed overseas and remains popular today. This six-episode sci-fi animation was co-produced by Gainax and Production I.G. It follows the everyday life of elementary school student Naota, which is thrown into chaos by the appearance of the mysterious alien Haruhara Haruko, leading to a major uproar in which a robot grows out of Naota's forehead... The story depicts the changing of "an ordinary everyday life with nothing special" alongside Naota's growth. The director is Kazuya Tsurumaki, who also served as director on "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time" in 2021. The participating staff also includes many renowned animators. This book contains key animation filled with youth and challenge. It had long been out of print, but as a valuable resource preserving the trajectory of this masterpiece anime, it is now being reissued in its original key animation book form!
