アレルギー疾患の診療は,この20年で大きく変わりました。舌下免疫療法や生物学的製剤といった新しい治療法が使えるようになり,アトピー性皮膚炎に対する,新しい塗り薬や飲み薬も次々と登場しています。また,アレルギー検査の精度が向上し,「どのくらい症状が出やすいか」を以前より具体的に予測できるようになってきました。さらに,乳児期からのスキンケアや食事の工夫によって,アレルギーの発症を予防できる可能性についても,多くの研究成果が蓄積されています。 本特集では,「この20年でアレルギー診療がどのように変わってきたのか」を,各分野の第一線で診療に携わってきた専門家たちに振り返っていただきました。そして,その変化をこれからの10年の診療や支援にどう活かしていくかを考えるきっかけになればと思っています。子どもたちと家族に日々寄り添う医療・教育・福祉関係者の皆さまが,新しい時代のアレルギー診療の考え方や実践を共有し,これからのよりよい医療と支援をともにつくっていく一助となれば幸いです。
