Nogizaka46 Kawasaki Sakura First Photo Book "Etude"

The first solo photobook by Nogizaka46 5th generation member Sakura Kawasaki, known as "Sakutan." This book captures the 22-year-old her, whose wide range between a mature side and an innocent side is captivating. Among the talented 5th generation members of Nogizaka46, Sakura Kawasaki stands out with her background in figure skating since childhood and has gained popularity for her coy and cute character. For her first solo photobook, she chose France, a country she had long admired, and through shoots in two cities with different climates and atmospheres, it brings out expressions never seen before. In Nice, a seaside city in southern France, she challenges swimsuit shoots under abundant sunshine, while in Paris, the city of flowers, she strolls through stylish streets and also takes on something she had long wished to do. She carefully selected her outfits, consulting with her stylist before departure and preparing through thorough meetings, and the book also includes cuts in her private clothes. By structuring the photos in chronological order of the shoot, it naturally conveys how she gradually opens her heart and frees herself, containing many expressions never seen before. [Comment from Sakura Kawasaki] I had long admired France as a country, and when I first visited Paris on a trip in 2025, I thought that if I were ever allowed to release a photobook, I would want to shoot there, so I was very happy when filming in Paris was decided. It was also my first time visiting Nice, and I came to love its atmosphere different from Paris. Being able to visit two cities with completely different atmospheres allowed me to become a different version of myself. Before the shoot, I watched French films and imagined what kind of girl I wanted to be when wearing certain clothes, so I hope you can enjoy the many sides of me. I think it has become a photobook like a movie where you can see the changes from day one to day five. I carefully selected each photo included, and I am happy if this photobook filled with my attention to detail becomes an opportunity for you to get to know me.
