Maiagere! Part1 (NHK Drama Guide)

[Machine Translation] The heroine, who longs to be in the sky when she sees a kite soaring in the sky, eventually dreams of becoming a pilot. The heroine, Mai, lives with her father, Kota, who runs a factory in the manufacturing town of Higashi-Osaka, her mother, Megumi, and her brother, Yuto. Mai is a shy girl, but when she visits her grandmother Sachiko on the nature-rich Goto Islands in Nagasaki, she is fascinated by the "Brahmin Kites" that soar powerfully in the wind in the wide sky of the Goto Islands. His longing to fly high in the sky like a Brahmin kite led him to dream of becoming a pilot. Mai strove to become a real pilot, but the road ahead of her was tougher than she had imagined. This is the story of a heroine who deepens her bonds with people in her two hometowns, Higashi-Osaka and Goto, and gives shape to her dreams.
