Cinderella Ga Kataru Cinderella (1 Ninsho Dowa Series)

[Machine Translation] What if the hero of the fairy tale told the story in his own words? Cinderella Told by Cinderella" is the second in a series of "first-person fairy tales" following "Momotaro" (Momotaro). The standard fairy tale, "Once upon a time...," is told in the third person, or what is called "narration. From the third person to the first person, from the objective to the subjective. In this series, the main character, for example, is depicted in the heart of the story. What was Cinderella thinking, what was she looking at, and what was she seeking? The first-person fairy tale, in which we experience the story from the protagonist's point of view, may be called a "picture book of gazes and feelings" after all. One of the great pleasures of this book is after reading it. The book ends with the question, "What if you were Cinderella? The question "What if you were Cinderella? The children themselves will think about "What if I were Cinderella? For example, how would you feel when you first meet your stepmother, when you go to the ball, or when you take off your glass slippers? Of course, there is no one correct answer. However, there is no one right answer, so we should put ourselves in the work and think freely about the "mind" and "action" that appear in the work. This will open up your imagination and foster a sensitive concern for someone other than yourself. The pictures are by Keiko Shibata, a popular illustrator. Cinderella's vision unfolds with her unique, vivid colors and warm, beautiful touch. Winner of the 2018 Good Design Gold Award.
