Missile Senkan "Yamato" 2 (Cosmos Novels)

[Machine Translation] The USS YAMATO, equipped with the flying bomb "Jet Dragon", launched a sortie at the Battle of Midway and successfully sank the US aircraft carrier "Enterprise". Following up on this spectacular performance, the military command completed the second ship of the Yamato class, Musashi, which was also equipped with a flying bomb, and here the two strongest warships in the world stood side by side. Japan's next goal was to blockade the U.S. and Australia. Japan's next goal was to establish an airfield on the island of Guadalcanal in the Solomon Sea to serve as a foothold for this operation. However, the U.S. forces, which had advanced the 61st Task Force, were allowed to land on the island. The Allied Fleet, wishing to recapture the island, launched the newly formed 1st Air Fleet and 2nd Air Fleet in conjunction with a general attack by the Army. The "Jet Dragon" succeeded in a preemptive attack on the enemy airfield, disabling their air power. However, the Second Fleet was read by Admiral Halsey of the South Pacific Fleet, and was exposed to the bombardment of a group of large ships. At that moment, the enemy battleships suddenly explode. The "YAMATO" and the "MUSASHI" are not ready in time! This is the second volume of the series depicting the endless activities of the new battleships.
