I ordered this model and the ATH-A900X at the same time. Tired of comparing them. Both of them play great! The pair seems to have 900 more basses. They sit easily on my head, although I expected that I would not feel them at all. All frequencies are evenly tapped. Bass is more than enough. The slightest sounds of the arrangement are heard. In general, not ears, but a fairy tale !!! I listened so far only to CDs, and a little blu-ray discs. Signal source model player Onkyo BDP 809. Amplifier Pioneer A504R. Of course, these are headphones for the home, and only for him. After three years of listening, playing has become noticeably better!
