The Phantom Detective

[Machine Translation] 20 years lost to the murder of a loved one will be filled with revenge! A dark hero more infamous than the villains! An unprecedented neo-action noir is born! Hong Gil-dong, a detective with a 99% case solving rate and even more infamous than the villains, sets out to seek revenge for his lost memory of 20 years ago, but there is a conspiracy by the Kwangin Society, a huge organization that could shake the nation... The film succeeds in giving a new appeal by setting a character known to everyone in Korea as a modern detective and creating a dark Hong Gil-dong with a complex inner life, rather than a simple hero with good intentions and good deeds. Hong Gil-dong is played by Lee Jae-hoon, who has been remarkably active since his discharge from the military. He successfully establishes a new image of Hong Gil-dong and breaks new ground. He is co-starring Kim Sung-kyun, who has played impressive roles in numerous films. The director of "My Wolf Boy," Cho Seong-hee, expresses a unique worldview with unprecedented stylish images.
