1 Yocto no Nemuri Hime

"An indigo inverted umbrella played over tear-streaked everyday life." A mixed-gender alternative rock band from Sapporo, Hokkaido. This is Melikret's first mini album released in both digital and physical formats. The title "Yocto (y)" is a numerical unit meaning ten to the power of minus 24 (10^-24=0.000000000000000000000001), which in Japanese is called "Nehan Jakucho." Nehan Jakucho refers to the state reached by those liberated from the cycle of reincarnation, a peaceful sleep attained beyond the end, meaning "a state where the fire has gone out." This work hides a story of "continuing to dream beyond all despair," originating from Melikret's background of continuing music with the dream of wanting to be saved by music. It sublimates into a fairy tale the wish to be saved by music, the dream of liberation from jealousy and inferiority that have repeatedly disturbed the heart over more than ten years of stagnation, and the state they wish to reach.
