Description

[Machine Translation] This album was performed and recorded in 1981 at the Bach Festival on the Atlantic resort island of Madeira. It was performed by Julius Baker, who was a solo flutist with the New York Philharmonic at the time. Baker was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He began his career with the local Cleveland Orchestra, and after working with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and others, he became the principal flutist of the New York Philharmonic. This recording, made three years before Baker retired from the orchestra, features Bach's famous "Sarabande" and other works that show Baker at the peak of his maturity. Recorded on August 4, 1982 at Madeira Festival, Portugal.

Description in Japanese

MMG(Moss Music Group)原盤。
