The Apothecary Diaries: The False Imperial Brother [Premium Box]

A court mystery where medicine and deduction reveal everything. "The Five Mysteries" and "The Five Curses" intersect in a new story from "The Apothecary Diaries." A chain of strange phenomena and conspiracies spreads through the rear palace, the pleasure district, and the capital. What truth will Maomao, an apothecary from the pleasure district, discover behind the "False Imperial Brother"? [Features] Another story unfolding behind the original work: the Five Mysteries and Five Curses plaguing the rear palace and the capital, and the truth concealed by the imperial court. Maomao's deductions reveal them together with astonishing facts. The deeper she uncovers the truth, the more the mystery deepens in this immersive mystery experience for both longtime fans and newcomers. Game cycle: players gradually approach the truth through a cycle of exploration, evidence collection, medicine compounding, information organization, and deduction. Each phase affects the others, and players solve difficult cases through deduction using items made by compounding medicines and the results of negotiations. Evidence gathering and deduction: fragmentary information obtained through conversations and field investigations is recorded in a notebook, and relationships are visualized by organizing the information. During deduction, presenting and combining evidence and choosing the correct answers directly affect the trust level. Wrong answers reduce trust, and repeated mistakes may leave the case unsolved. The game is packed with episodes featuring tense exchanges that demand careful choices. Ingredient gathering and medicine compounding: gather materials in the field and combine them in a balanced way to try various compounds. The selection and quality of the materials change the difficulty of the compounding mini-game and the quality of the finished item. A feature that automatically creates high-quality medicine is also available when players want to compound quickly. Creativity directly affects the results, providing both enjoyment and a sense of achievement. [Story] Soon after Maomao, an apothecary from the pleasure district, begins working as a lady-in-waiting, a series of incidents known as the Five Mysteries occurs in the rear palace: a faceless eunuch, a storehouse that wails every night, and clothing that turns red overnight. Anxiety rapidly spreads through the rear palace. At the unilateral request of Jinshi, the administrator of the rear palace, Maomao investigates the Five Mysteries. Using her knowledge of medicine and sharp powers of observation, she compounds medicines, negotiates, gathers evidence, and solves the cases.
