Reincarnation

[Machine Translation] Aureole, the hottest sextet currently leading the Tokyo indie scene, releases their first new album in two years! Aureole's new album is the best album of their career, and is a further evolution from their previous two albums, incorporating elements of post-rock, electronica, classical, dubstep, ambient, contemporary music, shoegaze, and more. The theme of this album, entitled "Reincarnation" = rebirth or reincarnation, is about the previous/present/next life, life/death, time/space, truth/fiction, and is full of hope for the future beyond these themes. The dynamic and grandiose sound of live instruments such as guitar, piano, vibraphone, and flute coexisting with electronics has acquired a stronger vitality, and the backbone of the sound is the presence of drums and bass, which have shifted to a more aggressive direction. The band's identity as a singer of Japanese lyrics, sung with a unique resonance, and the tracks that capture the chemical reaction of the band's vocals, which blend with a sound that skillfully manipulates stillness and movement, strongly shake the listener.
