ANISON COVERS 3 [w/ Blu-ray, Limited Edition]

Created around the concept of "anime song cover albums for adults", the "ANISON COVERS" series presents classic anime songs, mainly from the 1980s and 1990s, with Moriguchi's distinctive vocals and a wide variety of arrangements. The previous release, "ANISON COVERS 2", also attracted considerable attention for its cover photo featuring Moriguchi's first bikini appearance in 34 years. It reached No. 8 on the Oricon weekly album chart and No. 5 on Billboard JAPAN's weekly "Top Albums Sales" chart. "ANISON COVERS 3" features ten timeless favorites, including two of the 1980s' biggest anime song hits, "CAT'S EYE" (the theme song for "Cat's Eye" (TV Anime)) and "Get Wild" (the ending theme for "City Hunter" (TV Anime)). Collaborations with an impressive array of musicians on individual songs have been another major attraction of the "ANISON COVERS" series. Numerous musicians are also scheduled to participate in this album (subject to change), and the lineup looks set to attract attention. The Blu-ray included with the Limited Edition features footage of studio performances with a live band from "Anison Days", the anime song program on BS11 that Moriguchi has regularly hosted since 2017. It features ten carefully selected songs from the approximately 400 songs Moriguchi has performed in the studio over the roughly nine years since the program began. Comes in an illustrated slipcase.
