Maoh-Taiten is a great heavy album for any fan of J-rock or even just music.each song shows a different way of making a song heavy metal. Some songs could be described be creepy twisted or even bizzare. This album really shows off Tora's drumming, Guitar harmonies, and what makes onmyouza Onmyouza.

This album is an amazing one, for me the best album after Mugen Hoyou! Full of particular atmosphere, powerful, beautiful, it's a very complete work.. Kakegoe, lyricism, violence, all you know about onmyouza take place in this piece ! Only one regret : too SHORT !!! T__T I also recommand with this album, the single kokui no tennyou, with each member's composition, very nice !

I don't have it yet but i belive that this one will be also great!!! Onmyoza - the best!!! Just listen this beautifull music written by the Matatabi(musician from their band), he and Kuroneko make us quake as Fuji-san(Fuji-yama) and love this band for who thay are and what thay do to make as happy. It contains all rythm: rock, power- metal, also some beautiful pop balads. Just try it and you'll be never dissapointed. I advice it to you, ROMA LASKAVYI from UKRAINE ( orange revolution 2004 country ) Buy and have fun

When I got this album I couldn't believe just how great it was. I only have 3 Onmyoza albums, but this was my favorite one. If you love Onmyoza you should buy this album!!

This album continues Onmyo-za's tradition of releasing quality albums with excellent songwriting and flawless musicianship that you'll want to listen to over and over. Maoutaiten differs from Onmyo-za's previous releases as the songs are on the whole shorter individually than some of their earlier 10min plus epics. None the less, Maoutaiten's songs are very concise and satisfying and you don't feel shortchanged because each song is beautifully crafted and enjoyable. All the great aspects of Onmyo-za that fans love are still there. Powerful and emotional vocals from Kuroneko paired with Matatabi's great singing and expressive basswork, Maneki and Karukan's distinctive and exciting guitarwork framed by Tora's infectious drumlines peppered by taikoesque embellishments all add to the famous Onmyo-za sound. On the whole, Maoutaiten is more accessible and "easier to get into" as an album than maybe their first album Kikoku Tensho. In conclusion, Maoutaiten is a fine addition to the band's great discography, the style of the music progresses from their last album Garyo Tensei. The album is a little shorter than I would of expected but then again no Onmyo-za album could be too short for me!
