Come This Madness

Europe, the legendary hard rock band from Sweden, who made a spectacular debut in 1983 with "EUROPE" (released in Japan as "Genso Kokyoshi"), whose songs, such as "Seven Doors Hotel" and "Stormwind" (from the 2nd album "Wings of Destiny," 84'), were early hits in Japan, and who achieved a worldwide breakthrough with "THE FINAL COUNTDOWN," released in 1986! Their 12th studio album in total, their first in about nine years and the first following their move to Metal Frontier, is released!! This work too was made with the lineup that has been unchanged since the band revived in 2004, namely Joey Tempest (vocals), John Norum (guitar), John Leven (bass), Ian Haugland (drums), and Mic Michaeli (keyboards). With the flowing, lyrical guitar playing of John Norum and the overwhelming presence of frontman Joey Tempest, they are a big band that reigns at the top of the rock scene and have performed in Japan many times.

1983年「EUROPE (邦題: 幻想交響詩)」で華々しいデビューを飾り、「Seven Doors Hotel」や2NDアルバム「Wings of Destiny」 (84')収録の「Stormwind」などの楽曲が日本ではいち早くヒットし、1986年にリリースした「THE FINAL COUNTDOWN」で世界的ブレイクを果たしたスウェーデン出身の伝説的ハード・ロック・バンド、ヨーロッパ! メタル・フロンティア移籍となる約9年ぶり、通算12枚目のスタジオ・アルバムがリリース!! ジョーイ・テンペスト (Vo)、ジョン・ノーラム (G)、ジョン・レヴィン (B)、イアン・ホーグランド (Ds)、ミック・ミカエリ (Key)という、2004年にバンドが復活して以降の不動のラインナップで本作も制作。ジョン・ノーラムの流麗で抒情的なギタープレイとフロントマン、ジョーイ・テンペストの圧倒的な存在感で、ロック。シーンのトップに君臨し、何度も来日公演も行っているビグ・バンド!!
