Kata Sode no Sakana Original Soundtrack by Yu Ojima

[Machine Translation] Original soundtrack of the movie "The Fish with One Sleeve" starring Yu Ishizuka. This summer, model Yu Ishizuka will star in her first movie, "The Fish with One Sleeve," which will be released in movie theaters one after another. The film was produced by Takeshi Tokaibayashi, a filmmaker who has received high praise at LGBTQ+ film festivals for his previous films on the theme of transgenderism. Yu Ojima, drummer for Hasunuma Shota Phil and world's end girlfriend as well as his own solo project Jimanica, wrote all the music under his own name for the first time, and the lyrics for the theme song were written by poet Yumitsu Bunzuki. The theme song lyrics are written by poet Yumitsu Bunzuki, and guest vocals are provided by up-and-coming NY-born singer Miyna Usui. A long version of the song, with further arrangements of the music that plays in casual scenes, is also included, making this a work that is even more rewarding to listen to than the soundtrack. The album begins with a minimal string piece with layers of viola by Eriko Teshima, also of Hasunuma Philharmonic Orchestra, followed by a RAP future neo-soul piece by Miyna Usui, a 90's POP piece with Yu Ojima himself on vocals, and a free improvisation by Mitsuhide Tatsumi, a trumpeter also active in Shibusanakizu. The album is a collection of contemporary "cinema music" that includes free improvisation by Yu Ojima himself.
