A Wasteland Companion

[Machine Translation] Warm and nostalgic in its worldview, the latest from M. Ward of Sea & Him! "M. Ward is well known for his work with actress Zooey Deschanel in the male-female duo Sea & Him, as well as in the super band Monsters of Folk with Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis (both of Bright Eyes), and Jim James (My Morning Jacket), and for his work with Norah Jones. M. Ward, who is also famous for his work with Norah Jones, has released his 7th solo album on <Merge Records>, his first solo album in 3 years! In addition to Zooey Deschanel, who also works with Sea & Him, the album features guest appearances by Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth, John Parrish of PJ Harvey, Howie Gelb of desert rock giants Giant Sand, and Mike Mogis, a close friend. The result is a masterpiece with a wide variety of songs, from pop numbers reminiscent of Sea & Him to warm, melancholy ballads! Lyrics, Bilingual translation, Liner notes (tentative)
