この絶望を駆け抜けろ。夢なんか見なかった。未来なんか知らなかった―。過酷な運命を背負った少女の葛藤と出発の物語。 ――若年性認知症を発症した母親の世話をしていた父親が他界し、一人で母の面倒を背負い込んでしまう主人公の内田果歩。父が生きていた頃には、想像もしていなかった絶望の日々・・・。友達や学校の先生にも、困窮した状況を相談できない果歩。ある日、学校のトイレットペーパーを大量に持ち帰ろうとしていたところを同級生の上野輝之に見つかってしまう。5人兄弟の大家族で家計を支える為に新聞配達するほど、余裕のない生活を送っていた輝之は、同じように貧困で苦しんでいそうな果歩が気になりはじめる。輝之は果歩と仲良くなろうと試みるも、心に余裕がない果歩には鬱陶しく感じられる。そんな中、果歩は学校の先輩が"JK散歩"をしていることを知る。生活費も底をつき、母を守る為に、果歩は禁断の"JK散歩"の扉を開いてしまう・・・。
