We Are In Love - Queen Lili'uokalani Songs Collection Volume 2 -

[Machine Translation] Harmonic vocal duo "Hili'u" (Hawaiian for "sound of the Hawaiian hola shell"). Despite being new artists, they were nominated as finalists for the Na Hoku Hanohano Awards, Hawaii's Grammy Awards, and their second album is now available nationwide. The album contains 17 songs, one of which is a hymn. The album features 17 songs, one of which is a hymn, two of which are classics that honor Liliuokalani, and 14 of which are Liliuokalani's own compositions. The challenge was to incorporate more musical factors. We tried to incorporate more musical elements, from the traditional Hawaiian instruments of pahu, ipuheke, pu'ili, uli'uli, and ilili'ili, to Liliuokalani's beloved piano, guitar, ukulele, and strings (violin, viola, cello, and double bass). The brass band, wind instruments, and choir, reminiscent of the Royal Hawaiian Band, also participated, as well as many other musicians. Rhythmically, we incorporated a wide range of music from traditional Hawaiian beats to bossa nova and swing jazz. The result is an album that can be used not only in Hawaii, but around the world.
