ERIC BELL

Description

[Machine Translation] Eric Bell, the first guitarist of Thin Lizzy, leads his own trio on this tasteful original blues! This is a studio solo album by Eric Bell, recorded in 1998 in Madrid, Spain, where he was on tour. According to his own words, it was "quietly released". It has now been released worldwide. All of the songs are Eric's originals, and he plays laid-back blues, lyrical weepy blues, light rock 'n' roll, boogie, and even a hint of reggae, all with a rich nuance in a subdued setting. Above all, Eric's Stratocaster tone is truly tasteful in the relaxed mood. The title of the album, "Irish Boy," refers not only to Eric's Irish heritage, but also to Rory Gallagher, an Irish guitarist who died in 1995. The title track "Irish Boy" is dedicated to Rory. Japanese commentary is included.

Special Feature / Bonus Track: 4 Japan edition bonus tracks
