Description

[Machine Translation] 24 hours live broadcast of his private life! Will the man who sold his privacy find true happiness? A cynical drama from director Ron Howard ("Apollo 13," "A Beautiful Mind") that strikes a blow against the world of modern television! ---- cable channel True TV has been in the doldrums for the past two years. The staff, on the verge of a cliff, came up with the final weapon: a grueling program that follows one ordinary person 24 hours a day with no script, no actors, and no editing. Ed, a video store clerk over 30 years old, was chosen to play the lead role. He becomes popular through this program "Ed-tv", but...? The film cynically and comically depicts the curiosity that everyone has to take a peek into other people's lives. Matthew McConaughey ("The Wedding Planner") plays the role of Ed, a man who becomes a celebrity with money but falls prey to the curiosity of viewers.

Special Feature / Bonus Track: audio commentary, unreleased scenes, outtakes, highlights from music, and more
