Description

[Machine Translation] The second concert by Abbado & the Lucerne Festival Orchestra in 2003, which became an international sensation, was the superb Debussy! From the opening concert of the Lucerne Festival with Abbado as the new Artistic Director, the top-notch performers gave an exquisite performance of Debussy. The performance of "St. Sebastian" is a precious work in itself, and only a video work can show the position of the soprano and chorale singers playing off-stage. Abbado's version of the entire work was edited by himself with the addition of the "Symphonic Interludes" and consists of five parts, including the vocal part but excluding the narration.
