ジェシ・ヴァン・ルーラー、55RECORDS移籍第1弾!! ヨーロピアン・ギター・ヒーロー、約3年ぶりの新作はジェシ・ヴァン初の熱狂ライブ・アルバム。ヨーロッパ最大のジャズ・フェスティバル「ノース・シー・ジャズ・フェスティバル」開催直前のデン・ハーグが世界各地から集ったジャズ・ファン、ミュージシャン、関係者でいつにない活気をみせる中、70人も入れば満員の地元の小さなジャズ・クラブ「マーフィーズ・ロウ」で行われた2日間のライブを収録。ジェシ・ヴァンのこのライブ録音にかける意気込みは並々ならぬものがあり、初日は演りなれたレギュラー・トリオ、2日目はこの為に組んだスペシャル・トリオという布陣で臨んだ。ジャズ・メンのオリジナル曲を中心にオール・スタンダードでレパートリーを固めたのもトリオがより自由に演奏を楽しむためである。
