Dune: Awakening

The open-world survival game "Dune: Awakening," developed by Funcom, arrives on PlayStation 5. Players become intelligence operatives, and an original story unfolds in which they explore the desert planet "Arrakis" while pursuing the secret of the "Fremen," an indigenous people who have vanished. On Arrakis, covered in a scorching desert, survival skills are essential to endure the harsh environment, including staying hydrated, acting in the shade, and avoiding the threat of sandstorms and sandworms. Along the way, players can discover new technologies and craft a wide range of items, from gadgets and weapons to large-scale bases of operations. Characters can also be developed with a high degree of freedom through classes and skill trees, letting players enjoy their preferred combat style, from close-quarters combat that makes use of physical ability to mental attacks that rely on intelligence. Multiplayer: in addition to multiplayer with up to 60 people on official servers, a single-player mode with a full solo play experience is also implemented. Players weave their own grand story while engaging in trade, combat, and political maneuvering.
