現代社会の暗部を強烈に切り取りながら身近に潜む闇を炙り出す"絶対に読んではいけない漫画"「シマウマ」が禁断の実写映画化! 主人公・ドラ/倉神竜夫を演じるのは、今最も注目を集める若手俳優・竜星涼。監督を務めるのは、『探偵はBARにいる』『相棒』シリーズなど、数多くの話題作を手掛けている橋本一。さらに、脚本を務めるのは、『凶悪』で第37回日本アカデミー賞優秀脚本賞を受賞している高橋泉。――全ては竜夫(竜星涼)に来た1通のメールから始まった。メール添付の画像は原型の崩れた仲間の顔と抜き取られた一対のアバラ骨。竜夫は身の危険を感じ、恋人である彩(高橋メアリージュン)のもとへ急ぐが、途中で襲撃に合い、昏倒してしまう。暗い倉庫で目を覚ました竜夫の前には"アカ"(須賀健太)と名乗る男がいた。その男から、自身は依頼人からの復讐を代行する闇の組織の一員であることを告げられ、アカと同じ組織の"キイヌ"(日南響子)という女からは組織を取り仕切っているのが"シマウマ"(加藤雅也)という男であることを聞かされる。
