Description

[Machine Translation] The 30th anniversary edition of "Chance"! Peter Sellers, Shirley MacLaine, and Melvin Douglas co-star in this comic fantasy masterpiece. A tale of satire and fantasy. --Chance, a gardener, has been tinkering in his garden for decades and enjoys nothing more than watching TV. One winter morning, when the old owner dies, the mansion is closed and he is forced to venture out into the bustling city for the first time in his life. Then he happens to meet Benjamin, a tycoon in the business world. He mistakes Chance for a businessman whose business has failed and is astonished by his innocent spirit. Benjamin took Chance's economic philosophy as his own, and even quoted his "economic theory" in a speech to the president of the United States, a close friend who had come to visit him. Chance becomes a man of the moment...
Special Feature / Bonus Track: comment by Illeana Douglas and original theatrical trailer
